Shanghai Kun Opera (2005)

Kun opera is one of the oldest extant forms of Chinese opera. It is listed as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2001. Shanghai Kun Opera Company brought a rewritten classic play, Sima Xiangru, to grace the stage of the Novel Hall, Taiwan. The crew was lead by the head of the company, Zhengren Cai, with a cast of 67 talented young performers.
