Here, Catherine Deneuve plays herself. Everything comes from this request regarding the conflict that erupted in the Lebanon in July 2006 made by the screen actress: "I want to see". This film project now presents itself as a piece of work that is neither a piece of fiction, nor a documentary. Just the meeting between the French star and the Lebanese actor, Rabih Mroué, who travel together through the regions most affected by the conflict. Through their presence, the two directors try to rediscover a beauty that their own eyes no longer manage to see. And so, an unpredictable and unexpected adventure begins...
